About Baffour House

The Baffour House at Tamale Girls’ Senior High School is named in honor of a generous donation made by him for contributing the very first bus to the school. His significant act of generosity helped improve transportation for students and staff, allowing for better mobility and access to events, extracurricular activities, and educational opportunities outside the school grounds.

Naming the house after the him is a way to honor his contribution and ensure that the legacy of his support is remembered within the school’s history. As a result, Baffour House holds a special place in the hearts of students and staff, not only because of its connection to the bus donation but also as a symbol of the importance of community support in the development of the school.

Students in Baffour House would likely take pride in their house’s name, and it would foster a sense of unity and pride in being part of a group associated with such a meaningful contribution to the school. The house participates in various school events, including academics, sports, and cultural activities, representing the spirit of generosity and service that Baffour’s donation embodies.
