Student accommodation at Tamale Girls’ Senior High School (SHS) is allocated based on the information provided in the placement form from the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS). If your placement indicates that you are a ‘boarding’ student, you will be assigned both a house and a room within the school’s boarding facilities. However, if your placement indicates that you are a ‘day’ student, you will still be assigned to a house for administrative purposes, but you will not be assigned a room, as day students are not required to stay in the dormitories overnight.

Day students are encouraged to make their own arrangements to rent accommodation close to the school. This will allow you to easily access the school’s facilities during the day. However, please be aware that while the school will provide you with access to its resources, the school cannot assume responsibility for the security of any private accommodation you may rent outside the school premises.
