Office of the Dean of Discipline

Mr. Abdul-Rahman Mohammed

Dean of Discipline

The Office of the Dean of Discipline was established with the primary aim of ensuring the overall well-being and support of students during their academic journey at Tamale Girls’ Senior High School. This office plays a crucial role in addressing students’ needs by offering a range of welfare services, including guidance on behavioral issues, conflict resolution, and emotional support, all of which contribute to creating a conducive environment for learning and personal growth.

In addition to providing welfare services, the Office of the Dean of Discipline is committed to fostering leadership development among students. By involving them in various decision-making processes, students are encouraged to take on leadership roles and actively engage in shaping the school community. This involvement helps students build essential skills such as critical thinking, teamwork, and responsibility.

The office also advocates for the interests and rights of students, ensuring their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed. Through these initiatives, the Office of the Dean of Discipline not only works to maintain order and discipline but also empowers students to become proactive leaders and responsible citizens both within the school and in society at large.
